Storage Bow Modern Slavery Statement
This Modern Slavery Statement is made by Storage Bow in recognition of our responsibility to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business operations and supply chains. We are committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all business relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against any form of modern slavery.
Our Business and Supply Chain
Storage Bow operates storage and related services, working with a range of suppliers that provide goods, site services, maintenance, equipment, and professional support. While much of our activity is based in environments considered low risk, we acknowledge that risks of modern slavery can exist in any supply chain, particularly where there are extended tiers of subcontractors or international sourcing.
We aim to work with suppliers that share our values and who can demonstrate responsible labour practices, fair remuneration, safe working conditions, and respect for human rights at all times.
Zero-Tolerance Policy on Modern Slavery
Storage Bow has a clear zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, servitude, and human trafficking. Any involvement in or benefit from such practices is strictly prohibited. We expect our employees, contractors, suppliers, and other business partners to uphold this standard and to adhere to all applicable labour and human rights laws.
Our zero-tolerance position means we will take decisive action where non-compliance is identified. This may include suspending work, terminating contracts, and reporting concerns to relevant authorities where appropriate.
Supplier Standards and Audits
We are working to embed our modern slavery expectations into supplier selection, onboarding, and performance review. As part of this, we communicate our stance on modern slavery to key suppliers and require them to confirm they operate in line with our principles and with relevant legislation.
Supplier audits and assessments are used to monitor compliance with our standards and to identify potential risks. These may include site visits, review of employment practices, and requests for evidence of policies and procedures. Where higher risk is identified, we may increase the frequency or depth of our review. We expect suppliers to cascade equivalent standards throughout their own supply chains.
Training, Awareness, and Reporting Channels
Storage Bow is committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks among employees, particularly those involved in procurement, facilities management, and supplier engagement. Training and guidance are provided so that team members can recognise indicators of exploitation and understand how to respond.
We encourage anyone associated with Storage Bow, including employees, contractors, and suppliers, to report concerns about potential modern slavery or unethical labour practices. Reports can be made through established internal reporting routes or to management, and may be raised anonymously where this is available under our internal procedures. We will treat all concerns seriously, investigate where appropriate, and protect individuals who raise issues in good faith from detrimental treatment.
Risk Management and Continuous Improvement
We continually review our processes to identify, assess, and mitigate the risk of modern slavery. This includes considering country risk, sector risk, the nature of supplied services, and the structure of the supply chain. Where we identify gaps or areas for improvement, we work to strengthen our controls and to collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions.
We recognise that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing effort. Our approach is to build long-term relationships with suppliers that are open and transparent, allowing issues to be addressed quickly and effectively.
Annual Review of This Statement
This Modern Slavery Statement is reviewed annually to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with best practice and evolving legislation. As part of the review, we consider any incidents reported, audit findings, changes in our operations, and feedback from stakeholders. Where necessary, we update our policies, procedures, and training to enhance our ability to prevent and detect modern slavery.
The Board and senior management of Storage Bow endorse this statement and are responsible for ensuring that it is implemented throughout the organisation and supported by appropriate resources. This statement applies to the financial year to which it relates and will be replaced by an updated version following each annual review.
